This is the fifth Bone graphic novel, it's the latest one I have. Fone Bone and Smiley encounter a giant cat on the eastern border on their way to set the baby rat creature free.        The above picture is of Jeff Smith, the creator of Bone, with his wife and some of the Bone characters. The picture to the right is of Fone Bone, the cute and friendly main character of the series.
"After being run out of Boneville, the three Bone cousins,Fone Bone, Phoney Bone, and Smiley Bone, are separated and lost in a vast uncharted desert.
One by one, they find their way into a deep, forested Valley filled with wonderful and terrifying creatures."        This is what Bone comics are all about. It introduces you to a fantasy world like no other. The events are sublime, exciting and intense. The story is epic, captivating and memorable.
I haven't yet read Ghost Circles but it will be the next one I'm getting. As I have every comic before this I'm really looking forward to reading what happens next.        Ever since he first met her, Fone has had a crush on Thorn. Thorn is a princess who was raised by dragons when she was very young. After the great war she was raised by her grandmother in a small forest cottage. She never knew she was a princess. It was not until the Lord of the Locusts has been intent on killing her that she has learned anything about her past. Thorn's destiny has a great deal of importance to the plot. Through dreams and challenges Bone and Thorn are facing their adventure together.
Phoney Bone and Smiley Bone are always getting into trouble. In this scene they're stuck washing dishes at the Barrelhaven.
Bone always has a red dragon looking out for him. Rat creatures are terrified of dragons. Rat creatures are surprisingly cute when they're young
